The inaugural 2026 Biltmore Championship Asheville is set to open the PGA Tour’s FedEx Fall series in North Carolina, with players competing to strengthen their status for the 2027 season. Jackson Koivun, the 21-year-old PGA Tour rookie, enters the tournament as the leading betting favorite at +1350.
Koivun’s position reflects a rapid rise since turning professional. He finished tied for 23rd at the 2026 U.S. Open in his final amateur appearance before gaining access to PGA Tour events through the Tour University Accelerated program. In only his third professional start, Koivun won the 3M Open, collecting $1.584 million and securing a two-year PGA Tour exemption. He has also been selected for the U.S. Presidents Cup team.
Jacob Bridgeman is the second choice at +1850 after earning his first PGA Tour victory earlier this season. Ben James follows at +2400, with Doug Ghim (+2500) and Davis Thompson (+2600) completing the top five. Corey Conners is listed at +2800, while J.T. Poston and Rasmus Hojgaard are both priced at +3100.
Other notable players in the field include Marco Penge (+3300), Mac Meissner (+3400), Keita Nakajima (+3500), Ryo Hisatsune and Eric Cole (both +3700), and Billy Horschel (+5500). The tournament begins the fall portion of the PGA Tour schedule, making the result particularly important for players seeking to improve their competitive position and retain access to events next season.
